Call me Jaret. I was born, then a lot of really confusing things happened and, after a while, I wound up in high school.
I tried to learn the crap they wanted me to learn in high school, but I found that it was just waste of my time crap. Most of the idiots I went to high school with were also a waste of time. However, there was Judy, who wasn’t a waste of my time. However, Judy wanted nothing to do with me.
I just bided my time. Actually, I was able to do little but bide my time, back when I was in high school and even before.
Well, one thing I did while I was biding my time was to build up a 1939 Ford coupe hot rod. It was a lot of work, but I learned a lot of useful stuff in the process of building the hot rod. When I got the hot rod finished, I was too young to drive it. The age situation proved not to be too much of a problem. Lots of people in the South are interested in hot rods. One of the rich kids in town had his old man buy the hot rod from me and then I had some money, but no hot rod.
I used some of the money that I got from sale of the first hot rod to build another hot rod, a 1940 Chevy coupe, this time. Once again, when I got the second hot rod finished, I was too young to drive it. However, another one of the rich kids in town had his old man buy the second hot rod from me. I then had more money and a reputation as a damn good mechanic, but no hot rod.
Then I got crafty. I used some of the money that I got from sale of the second hot rod and I built two hot rods, a 1950 Ford coupe and a 1951 Ford two door. The two cars were pretty much identical, so far as hot rod parts went, and they each turned out really good. Once again, when I got the two hot rods finished, I was too young to drive either of them. However, a couple of the rich kids in town had their old man buy the third and fourth hot rods from me. I then had quite a bit more money and a reputation as a damn good mechanic, but no hot rod.
I used some of the money that I got from sale of the third and forth hot rods and I built two more hot rods. I found a couple of 60s Camaros that were in pretty good shape, except that they each had no engine and no transmission. I built a couple of engine and transmission combos and installed them. Both of the engines that I built were fuel injected and I not only built the engines, I programmed and created the chips that controlled the fuel injection systems. The two Camaros were pretty much identical, except one had an automatic transmission. I rebuilt the automatic and figured out how to make it into a race tranny or a cruising tranny at the flip of a switch. Once again, when I got the two hot rods finished, I was still too young to drive either of them. However, a couple of the rich kids in town had their old man buy the fifth and sixth hot rods from me. I then had quite a bit more money and a reputation as a damn good mechanic, but no hot rod.
